This policy explains what information FintechBotFocused (“we”, “us”) collects when you use fintechbotfocused.com, including our community, the Automated Trading Network (the “Community”), and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

If you sign in with Google

When you choose “Sign in with Google”, Google shares the following with us, and only after you approve it:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your profile picture
  • A unique ID for your Google account

We never see or store your Google password. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, YouTube account, or any other Google data.

Your membership application

When you request to join the Automated Trading Network, we store your answers to the membership questions (your trading experience, the markets and platforms you use, and what you hope to get from the network), the date you agreed to our Terms of Service, and whether your request was approved. Your answers are only seen by our moderators and are never shown publicly.

Content you post

Threads, replies and anything else you post in the Community are stored on our servers along with the time you posted them.

Sign-in sessions

To keep you signed in, we store a session record that includes your IP address and browser type. We use this to keep your account secure and to prevent spam and abuse.

Usage data and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are popular). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser. If you sign in, we also set a cookie that keeps you logged in.

2. What Is Public

The Community is public to read. Your name, profile picture, and everything you post can be seen by anyone, including people who are not signed in, and may appear in search engines. Your email address is never shown publicly. Please don’t post personal or sensitive information, such as account numbers, API keys or passwords.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and run your Community account and show your posts
  • To keep the Community safe, including preventing spam and enforcing our rules
  • To contact you about your account if needed
  • To understand and improve how the site is used

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We will not add you to our newsletter unless you sign up for it yourself.

4. Services We Use

We rely on these providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf:

  • Vercel: website hosting
  • Neon: the database where accounts and posts are stored
  • Google: sign-in and Google Analytics
  • Kit (ConvertKit): our newsletter, only if you subscribe
  • Pushover: sends our moderators a notification with your name and a preview of new posts and membership requests so they can review them

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

5. Keeping and Deleting Your Data

We keep your account and posts for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@fintechbotfocused.com from the address you signed in with. We will delete your account and the posts you made. Copies may remain in backups for a short time before they are overwritten.

You can also remove FintechBotFocused’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account settings under “Third-party apps & services”.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and encrypted storage of sign-in tokens. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

7. Children

FintechBotFocused is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website contains links to third-party websites (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, TradingView), and Community members may post links of their own. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, post a notice in the Community.
